I have always loved keeping busy by studying nature and doing art projects reflecting what I observe.

In 1999, I met with nature guide company 'Rainforest Publications' owner, Larry Landstrom in Costa Rica, where at age 19, I started illustrating for his laminated and foldout nature guides. It started with the Butterflies of Costa Rica, but then moved on to the Butterflies of Mexico, Belize and I also did a dive guide for Belize reef fish. Currently I am working on another foldout guide to be available in 2007.

I LOVE to travel and explore the natural world, so when a friend introduced me to the wonders on the west coast of Vancouer Island, Particularly Flores Island, I decided to make a dedicated website to information about the Island. I am still working on it but it's coming along nicely.
